About The Role
We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Executive to expand our pipeline across Government, PSU, and Enterprise accounts in North India, including Central Ministries, State Government departments, and large enterprises. You will work closely with the senior sales leadership team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and position Postgres1st as a modern alternative to traditional proprietary database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads across Government, PSU, and Enterprise accounts in North India
- Execute outbound outreach activities through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and requirements
- Position Postgres1st solutions aligned with customer needs
- Coordinate with senior sales and technical teams for meetings and demos
- Engage with System Integrators (SIs), channel partners, and resellers to create joint opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline updates and reports
- Support RFP/RFI discussions and initial customer engagement activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Software Product, SaaS, or IT Sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Good understanding of enterprise technology sales processes
- Comfortable working with channel partners and ecosystem stakeholders
- Graduate degree required; MBA is a plus
- Experience working with Government or PSU accounts is an added advantage
