Revenue Ownership & Regional Strategy
Own and deliver the annual regional revenue, bookings, and margin targets across software subscriptions, professional services, and managed services.
Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy, including target verticals, key accounts, territory plans, and pricing approach.
Identify and pursue large, strategic opportunities across Enterprise, BFSI, Telecom, and Government / Public Sector accounts.
Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline governance, and deal reviews to ensure predictable quarterly performance.

Build, lead, and mentor a team of Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Business Development Representatives.
Set clear goals, KPIs, and territory assignments, and hold the team accountable for pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Coach the team on enterprise selling methodologies, deal strategy, negotiation, and account planning.
Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, performance management, and building a high-performance sales culture.
Customer & Executive Engagement
Build and maintain trusted relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, and senior decision-makers at key accounts.
Lead strategic pursuits, including RFPs, tenders, and complex multi-stakeholder negotiations through to closure.
Position our offerings as the preferred choice for database modernisation, including migrations from Oracle, SQL Server, and other proprietary databases to PostgreSQL.
Drive customer retention, renewals, and expansion within the existing customer base.
Partners, Collaboration & Reporting
Develop and grow relationships with system integrators, resellers, cloud providers, and ISV partners to build joint pipeline.
Collaborate closely with pre-sales, solution architects, delivery, marketing, and training teams to win and deliver business.
Provide regular business reviews, forecasts, and market insights to the leadership team.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM hygiene across the team (Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or similar).
Experience & Skills
10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 4–5 years in a sales leadership role managing a team and a regional number.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million revenue targets.
Strong background in selling database, data platform, infrastructure software, or open-source solutions; PostgreSQL ecosystem experience is highly desirable.
Experience selling software subscriptions combined with professional and managed services.
Established network and relationships with CXOs across Enterprise, BFSI, Telecom, and Government / Public Sector accounts.
Hands-on experience managing complex sales cycles, RFPs, tenders, and partner-led deals.
Experience building and scaling channel and system integrator partnerships is a strong plus.

Inspiring leader who can attract, develop, and retain top sales talent.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive presence.
High integrity, ownership mindset, and resilience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Collaborative team player who works well in a matrixed, cross-functional organisation.
Education
Graduate degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or post-graduate degree is a plus.
Be part of a fast-growing, global database company built around PostgreSQL and open-source innovation.
A leadership role with real ownership and the opportunity to build and shape a regional business.
Direct access to and partnership with the company's senior leadership team.
A collaborative culture that invests in your growth and success.
Competitive compensation with attractive performance-linked incentives.
